Specific Accountabilities:

  1. Leading and managing the implementation of a visionary and contemporary policy around the effective use of Information Technologies in all school programs and processes, and the procurement and installation of all necessary infrastructure resources to deliver Monash Tech School programs and overall school administration for both the temporary and permanent facilities.
  2. Managing, monitoring and troubleshooting where required the IT and equipment infrastructure of the Monash Tech School on a daily basis.
  3. Investigating and assessing the suitability of equipment and associated infrastructure to deliver programs developed by the curriculum team for both the temporary and permanent facilities.
  4. Identifying, investigating and presenting a case for the implementation of potential technologies and equipment for future programs or use by the Monash Tech School to the Senior Leadership Team.
  5. Contributing specialist ICT and Technologies knowledge to the development of Monash Tech School programs.
  6. With the Director, managing the implementation of school operational policies and procedures as they relate to Occupational Health and Safety, equipment usage and materials storage.
  7. Contributing to the strategic and business plan for the Monash Tech School.
